Toyota recalls 550,000 model year 2021-2024 Highlander and Highlander Hybrid vehicles due to second-row seat backs that may fail to lock after adjustment. This defect risks improper occupant restraint and injury during high-speed crashes. Dealers will replace the return springs in the recliner assemblies with improved parts at no cost to owners.
