Maryland High School Shooting Injures Student, Suspect Held

A 16-year-old boy shoots another 16-year-old student in a hallway at Thomas S. Wootton High School in Rockville, Maryland, around 2:15 p.m. Monday. The victim suffers a single gunshot wound but arrives at the hospital in stable condition. Police quickly arrest the suspect, also a 16-year-old boy from Rockville, near the school and declare no ongoing threat to public safety.
