Live Nation Settles Antitrust Suit with DOJ

Live Nation reaches a settlement with the Justice Department in the antitrust case against it and Ticketmaster, halting the trial just days after it began with a jury seated in Manhattan. The deal requires Ticketmaster to open its platform to rival ticketers, caps service fees at 15% for amphitheaters, limits exclusivity contracts to four years, and forces divestiture of over 10 amphitheaters.
