An Israeli F-35I Adir shoots down a Russian-made Iranian Yak-130 over Tehran in the war's first fighter jet dogfight, IDF announces Wednesday morning. The Yak-130, a 1990s advanced trainer and light attack jet, tops 1,000 km/h and carries 3,000 kg of weapons on nine points. It trains pilots for jets like Russia's Su-57 and complicates battles against drones.
